A keyboard workshop that became a manufacturer

From the repair bench to an 8,000 m² plant — the same engineers, the same answers.

A keyboard workshop that became a manufacturer
Appacc started in 2017 repairing and rebuilding tablet keyboards for local distributors. Today the same engineers run an 8,000 m² plant — and still answer technical questions themselves.

We began where most OEM factories in Shenzhen end: at the repair bench. Rebuilding failed hinges and dead key membranes taught us exactly which parts fail first, and why. Every MagDeck design decision since then has been an answer to a failure mode we have seen with our own hands.

Manufacturing

Machining, anodising, SMT, assembly and life testing run in one plant. That is unusual at our size, and it is the reason a change request reaches the line in days instead of a quarter: there is no supplier round-trip between engineering and production.

Who we work with

  • Brand owners adding a keyboard accessory to an existing tablet range

  • Distributors covering Pro, Air and entry iPad tiers in one programme

  • Education suppliers needing IP54 durability and replaceable keycaps

  • Accessory companies integrating the BareDeck module into their own enclosure

Where our products ship

26 markets across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Export documentation, ISTA packaging and Incoterms are handled in-house; samples leave Shenzhen within seven days.

If you are evaluating a supplier, ask us for the documentation pack: test reports, drawings, packaging dielines and a spare-parts list. It is the same pack we give our own sales team.
