Sourcing iPad keyboards from China: MOQ, certifications and what to ask
A buyer-oriented checklist covering order quantities, test reports, packaging and the documents that actually matter at customs.

Most first orders fail on paperwork rather than product. This checklist is the one we walk through with new partners before a purchase order is issued, and it applies to any supplier you evaluate.
Ask for CE, FCC, RoHS and REACH documents with the report number visible, not just a logo
Confirm MOQ per colourway, not per model — colour changes drive cost
Request keystroke and hinge cycle data from a production batch, not a prototype
Agree packaging artwork approval before the tooling deposit
Check whether spare parts (keycaps, scissors, hinges) are available for after-sales
Confirm Incoterms, carton dimensions and ISTA test level for your channel
Appacc ships a documentation pack with every sample: test reports, drawings, packaging dielines and a spare-parts list. Ask for it before you commit.
